Overnight accommodations
DaySpring has accommodations for 318 overnight guests. Check the
Rates and Registration area for current prices. All of our buildings
are air-conditioned.
Cottages:
We have six lovely cottages. Each has four rooms with two beds
and a private bathroom. One bathroom in each cottage has been
designed to be handicapped accessible. Each cottage has a spacious
comfortably-furnished common room ideal for reading and quiet
conversation or for small group meetings. The cottages accommodate
up to 48 guests in private and semi-private rooms. The cottages are
connected to Curry Hall via a well-lighted paved sidewalk.

Guest Houses:
There
are four guesthouses on campus with 23-private and semi-private
rooms capable of accommodating 46-overnight guests. Each has
comfortable family-style common areas. The guesthouses make ideal
locations for small group meetings and family reunions.

Hall House:
Hall
House is a charming little cabin on the banks of the Manatee
River. It belonged to the Hall family before they sold it and the
property to DaySpring. The cabin has hardwood floors, a large
stone fireplace, and a screened porch. The living room is ideal
for small group meetings. The cabin has two bedrooms, one with a
queen-sized bed, the other with two
twins.

Youth Cabins:
We
have four youth cabins named Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Each
has two spacious sleeping areas with separate shower and bathroom
facilities. The sleeping areas are equipped with eight bunk beds.
A large common room connects the rooms. It makes a great place to
relax, gather for singing, watch videos or for meetings. The youth
cabins accommodate up to 128 guests.

Dorms:
There
are six dormitory-style buildings capable of accommodating up to
16 guests each. The dorms connect to Curry Hall via a covered
deck. There are two meeting rooms in the dorm complex as well as a
lovely lounge equipped with comfortable couches and easy chairs, a
fireplace, coffee and juice machines, a computer with Internet
access, a VCR, and a popcorn machine. The dorms are also near the
DaySpring Library where all guests can browse through hundreds of
titles. The dorms accommodate up to 96 guests.
Meeting rooms:
DaySpring
has a wide variety of formal and informal meeting spaces. Our
largest meeting rooms, Pavilions A and B will accommodate up to
300 each, and can be set up in either theater or classroom style.
Each has a sound system and other A/V equipment. There are nine
formal meeting rooms on campus. Meetings may be conducted in the
common areas of each residence. Meeting space is provided at no
charge to groups booking overnight accommodations. There is a
charge for additional meeting space.
Dining:
Meals
are served buffet style in Curry Hall. Salad and fruit bars are
available we well as fresh-baked cookies and ice cream. The hall
seats up to 176 with additional seating for 48 on a screened porch
overlooking a lovely pond. Under special circumstances and with
prior arrangement, meals may be served in other areas of the
campus. DaySpring has a well-deserved reputation for excellent
food. Special diets are gladly accommodated with advanced notice.

Worship
Worship services take place in a variety of locations. Both
pavilions are equipped with sound systems, pianos and altars.
Communion vessels and Prayer Books are also available. DaySpring
will provide communion elements with prior arrangement.
St.
Thomas Chapel was built in 1914 and moved to DaySpring
in 1986. It is open for prayer and meditation 24 hours a day and
is available to any group who wishes to conduct services there.
The chapel has an organ, keyboard, Bibles and Prayer Books. It
accommodates approximately 80 worshipers.

Outdoor
Chapel - The Outdoor Chapel overlooks a beautiful
secluded estuary. It features a large stone altar flanked by
several of the original stained glass windows from St. Thomas
Chapel. The outdoor chapel accommodates approximately 100
worshipers seated on benches.
