CAMP DaySpring

Camp DaySpring is a part of the Episcopal Diocese of Southwest Florida – A church called to honor and embrace all differences authentically.

Campers experience fun and challenging activities that aim to strengthen their friendships and grow their spirituality. In groups, campers learn team-building skills and are challenged on the ropes course, canoe, and kayak on the Manatee River, play games, create arts and crafts, and experience God’s love through great staff, music, and food.

Campers love returning to DaySpring each summer to see their old friends and make new ones. The camp sessions are led by chaplains (Episcopal Priests and Youth Ministers) that work with summer staff to offer programs that are meaningful and celebrate our Christ-centered diversity.

TIERED PRICING, FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, AND Scholarships

TIERED PRICING

Our Community-Supported Pricing Model

At Dayspring Episcopal Camp and Conference Center, we believe that the camp experience is a vital investment in a child's future. To keep our programs accessible to as many families as possible, we offer a voluntary tiered pricing structure. This model allows you to take an active role in supporting the Dayspring Camp community by choosing the level that best matches your family’s financial circumstances.

Regardless of the tier selected, every camper receives the same camp experience. Your choice is completely confidential.

TIER 1: $840

This tier is what we call our impact level, and is the closest to the true cost of camp. By choosing this tier, you are doing more than just paying for your child’s stay- you are becoming a partner in our mission. This rate covers the full cost of camp and one night of camp for a Tier 3 camper. Tier 1 contributes to the ongoing "health" of our program, including facility improvements, equipment upgrades, and staff development. Most importantly, choosing Tier 1 helps us bridge the gap for families who require assistance, ensuring our camp remains a diverse and inclusive community for all.

TIER 2: $702

This rate represents the direct costs of the camp experience, including meals, program supplies, and our dedicated staff. It is a "break-even" rate that covers the basics of your child's time with us. This level is ideal for families who are able to cover the cost of their own child’s experience but are not in a position to provide additional philanthropic support at this time. This tier is made possible through the generosity of our annual donors. Please choose this level if it is the best fit for your family’s budget.

TIER 3: $570

We are proud to offer this subsidized rate to ensure that camp remains affordable and accessible. This tier is made possible through the generosity of our donors and those who choose Tier 1. If the full cost of camp would prevent your child from attending, we invite you to choose this level. Our goal is to ensure that every child has a place at camp, regardless of financial barriers.

SCHOLARSHIPS AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

We are committed to the principle that no child should be turned away due to an inability to pay. If our Tier 3 rate is still beyond your family’s budget, we offer Additional Financial Assistance.

Scholarship funds are available but limited. These scholarships are made possible by generous contributions to Camp Dayspring. Additional scholarships are often made available through the Episcopal faith community. Please apply if you are in genuine need of assistance to send your child to camp.

Custom Support: We provide variable scholarships based on individual family needs, funded by our donors.

How to Apply: To apply for a scholarship, please select the "Financial Aid" option during registration. You will be guided to a confidential application form where you can share more about your specific needs.
